Have you ever read Utopia? What do you think about that book?

We were forced to read it at school in... 10th grade? I will admit that I only retained about 17% of it (maybe less). If I remember correctly it's not really even a story. It's basically a fictional guy who wants to put together this utopian society and in the book (which is written sort of like his journal, I guess) he lays out all the rules and describes the physical layout of the village/land where the people will live. Honestly I can barely remember any of it -- I'm not sure if I've ever read anything so boring. The best part was that during our study of utopian societies we got to watch the movie "The Village" and watching movies in school is always cool :)
