THE GIVER BOOK HELP???????

I READ THIS BOOK!!! The author chooses Jonas for theain character because he is the one that is choosen for reciever of memory and its mostly about him.Yes i think it was a good choice because it made the book interesting and Jonas made many decisions in the book. The name choice part umm... Because... I dont understand that one sorry:(
