How much do you feel law enforcement is going to change?

I want to be a police officer when I get older(I'm 15)but I don't want the work environment to change on me. I don't see much change happening because we haven't changed much within the past 30-40 years besides new model cars, and pepper spray, stun guns etc.=non lethal approaches. How much do you think being a police officer over a course of 50-80 is going to change?
