Brazilians, i am embarrassed to be an American--can i be Brazilian?

ok first off i am not ignorant, i know that Brasil is not a perfect place or utopia--i know there is a lot of violence and crime and corruption in the government (but where in the world doesnt have something like this?) anyways, i visited Brazil on vacation two years ago, and your culture is amazing, beautiful. and most Brazilians are very friendly and genuinely appreciative of everything they have. here, i am sick of Americans so ignorant, lazy, and spoiled. honestly, i think people from other countries know more about the USA then people here do! anyways i am learning a lot of portugues already, and if i get a career established here maybe i can take some money and get something going there. crime and corruption i can handle, as america is catching up with Latin countries in that kind of thing
