Detroit has been led by Democrats for 50 Years, Why is it not a utopia like New Orleans is?

Because the liberal ideology works well on paper but when you apply it to the real world it becomes a total mess as people are more than happy to live for their entire lives on government handouts, then give birth to even MORE people with those attitudes and after a generation or two, you end up with a city like Detroit.
