Did the great Dinosaur leaders predict the apocalypse?

I think that one major leader predicted an apocalypse. When it did not occur the others realized he was a false leader and ate him. This is part of dinosaur history not generally known to the public as it was deemed not proper for the common dino and the story only handed down by the sages.
